Our medical Co-Founder, Dr. Bayati, recommends that her patients who experience this side effect start slow—beginning with one pill a day, and slowly increasing the dosage over a two to four week period.

Typically our doctors have said that you shouldn't need to take Hormonal Balance Support vitamins during pregnancy as you're not having the same hormonal imbalance so we do recommend stopping with a positive pregnancy test.

Typically women do not need to take the Hormonal Support Balance in the early postpartum period although there is no concerns in starting postpartum. However if you are breastfeeding, while the majority of the ingredients are low risk and generally recognized as safe, there are some concerns around Berberine potentially causing a rash or GI upset in breastfed babies so we recommend avoiding it.
