We’re HSA/FSA Eligible
Prenatal vitamins are essential, packed nutrients that help support both you—and baby—during your critical stages. You can use your flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) dollars towards your prenatal vitamins.
How It Works
While HSA dollars roll over each year, FSA dollars typically expire on 12/31 (check with your benefits provider). Use yours before they’re gone for good!
Always-Eligible Vitamins
Our prenatal vitamins are always HSA/FSA eligible.

Questions & Answers
Find answers to your most frequently asked questions about HSA/FSA below.
FSAs (flexible spending accounts) and HSAs (health spending accounts) are employee benefits that allow you to use pre-taxed income on certain medical expenses, including eligible healthcare products. That means you can reduce your personal healthcare costs during this exciting period in your life.
- An FSA is an employer-established benefit plan, and only available to employees when offered by their employer. (Note, that self-employed individuals are not eligible to create an FSA under current IRS regulations.) Note: FSA funds typically expire at the end of the calendar year, but some plans may allow you to roll over some funds or extend the plan year with a grace period. Make sure to spend the rest of your FSA dollars before December 31st to take full advantage!
- An HSA is a medical savings account available to those enrolled in a high-deductible insurance policy. Unlike an FSA, self-employed taxpayers can create an account. Note, that an HSA is not available to those eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, or claimed as a dependent on another’s tax return. HSA accounts, unlike FSAs, do not expire and can be rolled over indefinitely.
Prenatal vitamins are FSA/HSA eligible because they help prevent birth defects and support fetal development. The following Perelel supplements are always eligible:
You can use your HSA/FSA dollars to purchase eligible one-time-purchase products on our website using the Sika Health payment method. All eligible products will say HSA/FSA eligible under the Product Description. When you add HSA/FSA eligible products to your cart, you can select the “Sika | Pay with HSA/FSA” payment method and follow the instructions.
If you have a mixed basket of eligible and ineligible one-time-purchase products, Sika Health makes this very easy. When you select the “Sika | Pay with HSA/FSA” payment method at checkout, your cart will automatically be split into an eligible and ineligible subtotal. You can then add the appropriate payment method for each subtotal.
Don’t worry! Sika Health can check your available HSA/FSA balance, charge that amount, and allow you to provide a backup credit or debit card to handle the rest. Enter your card details like normal and follow the prompts from Sika Health!
Yes! If you would like to redeem your HSA/FSA funds for a purchase on our website and you don’t have an HSA/FSA card, you can choose Sika and pay with a normal credit or debit card. As long as one of the items in your cart is eligible, you will receive an email from Sika Health. In this email will be everything you need to redeem your purchase for HSA/FSA dollars, including the proper receipt to submit to your HSA/FSA administrator.
