If you're looking to up your protein intake, that might mean filling your plate with fish, eggs, lean meat, or tofu and legumes. But what if you could get 20 grams of protein simply by enjoying a bowl of strawberry ice cream?
Since we're never ones to compromise our cravings for top-notch nutrition (and vice versa), we tasked Brigit Hadam, RD—Perelel's in-house dietitian and Senior Manager of Scientific Affairs—with developing a recipe that would satisfy our sweet tooth while providing a hefty 20 grams of protein. She delivered—and the starring ingredient, of course, is our creamy vanilla Triple-Support Protein.
With a blend of fresh fruit, nut butter and plant-based protein, this strawberry vanilla ice cream supports both your taste buds and your body’s needs—with the additional benefit of brain-boosting creatine and no-bloat fiber.

But First: The Benefits of Protein for Women
Protein is an essential nutrient for women, helping with everything from muscle maintenance to metabolism regulation. As we age, protein becomes even more important for preserving lean muscle mass and supporting bone health. Including enough protein in your diet can also help control hunger and aid in weight management.
Our Triple-Support Protein is a clean, doctor-backed protein blend that helps with muscle recovery and sustained energy. In addition to plant-based protein sourced from regeneratively-farmed peas, it also contains creatine, a nutrient shown to support both brain and muscle health—and it's especially important for women, as hormonal changes can affect the way we utilize creatine in the body. That's not to mention the addition of five grams of low-FODMAP fiber, which is easy on the stomach. (90% of women don't get enough fiber in their daily diets.)
And perhaps most importantly, our team made sure that it tasted amazing—so that it's all the easier to incorporate into our daily routine (like this delicious ice cream recipe).
