Our mission is simple. More healthy babies. More healthy moms. And while we’re at it, let’s leave our planet a little better than we found it. It may seem like a big goal, but we’re committed to making progress with little strides. And hey, we are moms after all. So, no one knows the true definition of baby steps more than us.
ICYMI, we shared our sustainability pledge to reduce our plastic usage by demanding innovation in our sector. And, so far, we’ve already made some headway: We’ve saved plastic by opting for daily sachets over plastic bottles. We’ve offset our carbon emissions by becoming a Carbonfree partner. Plus, we’ve cut plastic entirely where we can by using recycled paper for our shipping materials that is 100 percent recyclable. Now, we’re taking one more baby step forward by offering complimentary recycling for all empty Perelel sachets.
“We’re moms, and what we do today, impacts our children tomorrow. That’s why we’re committed to limiting our impact on the environment without compromising on the safety and quality of our products.”
– Victoria Thain Gioia and Alex Taylor, Perelel Co-founders
Why recycle with Perelel?
Most local recycling centers only accept certain types of plastic—and many household products don’t make the cut. Plastic shipping bags? Often not recyclable. Plastic utensils? Likely not. So, instead of having that plastic end up in a landfill, Perelel will recycle them for you so that plastic will be repurposed and upcycled into something else.
Okay, I’m in. So how can I get started?
Getting started is simple. Save up your Perelel “empties” and when you’re ready to recycle, simply reach out to our team at [email protected] to request a complimentary shipping label. We recommend reducing your carbon footprint when shipping by saving up a minimum of two months and reusing your existing Perelel box. Send back our way and we’ll take care of the rest for you.
We want to know what you want to see at Perelel. Shoot our founders an email anytime at [email protected] with your feedback
