Today's installment is with Mimi Nguyen, a New York-based beauty insider who is a favorite follow for fashion and beauty inspiration. Mimi has held roles at the Violette_FR, Harper's BAZAAR and is currently the face behind the social media of the cult-loved skincare line, EADEM. We caught up with Mimi as she plans her upcoming nuptials to learn how she nourishes herself inside and out—read on for her tips below.
1. What’s something you’re looking forward to?
Warmer weather! It feels like it’s been a very long winter, so I’m excited to pull out some fun summer pieces and not have to lug around a big coat everywhere I go.
2. How do you take care of your mental health?
Spending my time with people that listen and don’t bring negative energy and making sure I spend a bit of time outside daily.
3. Your favorite way to unwind is...
Starting my day with a workout, deep cleaning my apartment, spending a some time outside, then eating a delicious meal and spending the rest of the day on the couch with my fiancé and dog.
4. Do you have any tips for managing stress?
Having a clean space, writing everything I need to do down in a checklist, and not having caffeine.
5. Your go-to workout is...
Three mile jog outside with my dog and fiancé! We run around DUMBO, Brooklyn early in the morning before people are up so it’s super peaceful.
6. When do you workout?
First thing in the morning, my morning workout always gets my day started.

What’s your go-to cocktail order?
Hibiscus margarita on the rocks with tajin on the rim.
8. Are you a morning or night person?
100 percent a morning person! I wake up between 5:30 and 6 AM everyday naturally and immediately get my day started.
9. What time do you go to bed + wake up each night?
I get ready for bed at around 8:30 PM–clean up the apartment, shower, skincare routine, brush my teeth, then usually fall asleep between 9:30 and 10 PM. I wake up between 5:30 and 6 AM, brush my teeth, workout, take my vitamins, then get ready for work.
10. When do you feel most beautiful?
Oddly, right after a workout when I’m sweaty. It gives my skin such a nice glow.
11. When do you feel most comfortable in your own skin?
When I’m wearing an outfit I really love and I’m spending quality time with someone I enjoy being around.
12. The beauty product that’s always in your cabinet...
Other than SPF, because it’s not that exciting—EADEM Milk Marvel ($68) to minimize my dark spots and texture.
