I recently found out that I have the MTHFR gene mutation and I am incredibly grateful for how perfectly formulated Perelel is for people like me.
✅ What Perelel Does Right (for MTHFR)
1. Uses Methylated Folate
Perelel uses 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) instead of folic acid — this is the active, bioavailable form your body can use even if you have MTHFR. This is a big plus!
2. Includes Methylated B12
It contains methylcobalamin, the active form of B12 your body can actually absorb and use, which supports methylation.
3. Includes B6 (as P-5-P)
Many of their formulas include pyridoxal-5-phosphate, the active form of B6 — ideal for people with MTHFR.
4. Evidence-Based Dosing
They often include appropriate doses of these nutrients (not too high, not too low), which makes it safer and more effective for pregnancy.
I spent $300+ to find out I had the MTHFR gene mutation, you don’t need to do that if you take Perelel because it’s formulated in a way that will make it not matter.

My husband hasn’t had any issues with the multivitamin. He’s been taking them a few months and finds that they are easy to remember because he doesn’t need to figure out how many pills to take and just takes a pack a day. He also really likes that it’s also a multivitamin so it’s one less thing to remember.

My husband and I are going to start trying this summer and my doctor recommended I start taking a prenatal. The first brand I bought gave me severe heartburn no matter when I took it so I switched to perelel. No heartburn, easy to swallow pills and I love that I don’t have to think about reordering as I have the subscription.
