I’ve been using Perelel vitamins since they first came out. I started with the conception pack and am about to transition to the mommy pack. I absolutely love these vitamins. I never have to worry that I’m not getting everything I need. My vitamins always come on time and their customer service is excellent and super responsive. I recommend these vitamins to everyone!
So nice knowing that you have everything you need targeted for each trimester. Also the customer support team shared a pro tip—to keep them in the freezer & take them cold to avoid some of the taste if/when your stomach is feeling sensitive. So helpful & it really works!
I have had a wonderful experience with all the products I have taken thus far. Great company!
My doctor actually recommended I take extra magnesium throughout my pregnancy to help keep me regular and I was sourcing it separately from my other prenatal. I originally purchased gummy vitamins and didn't notice a difference at all, then found Perelel and loved that they had everything in one. I immediately noticed a difference when I switched over and am never going back. Genius that they add in exactly what you need, when you need it. I'm forever thankful.
Hi - I've been taking the prenatal packs, and firstly THANK YOU for changing the formula to remove the smell/taste. That.Was.Rough. The one question/comment I have is that my ob/gyn said that the Iron amounts isn't high enough, so now I've been taking an additional iron pill to make up for the difference (she recommends 30mg). The DHA + EPA amounts seem to be a bit low too so my doctor has recommended taking another DHA + EPA supplement. This is all to say that, while I trust that the formula has been created with doctors, my doctor has recommended higher amounts for a few of the vitamins and supplements and wanted to bring that to your attention because taking more pills, in addition to the 5 I'm already taking, is a lot!
Hi Christina! Great question. Here's what founding team of OB/GYNs and maternal-fetal medicine doctors, who we refer to as our Perelel Panel (https://perelelhealth.com/pages/our-panel) would like you to know regarding your comments about iron and DHA + EPA. Hope this is helpful! They recommend your supplements be paired with a healthy diet and as such, feel your iron needs should be covered between our prenatal dosage and your diet. Too much iron from your supplement can be challenging on your system to digest as well as prohibit proper absorption of other key nutrients. We also source a bioavailable format of iron and pair it with Vitamin C to make sure your body is absorbing the full amount. In terms of DHA + EPA, our Perelel Panel all review our formulations and are confident in our omega levels. Dr. Bayati, our medical co-founder, actually cautions over taking too high of an omega dosage, which can cause complications throughout a pregnancy. Again, our supplements are meant to be coupled with a healthy diet, which includes food sources of your omegas (you can find more here: https://perelelhealth.com/blogs/news/foods-with-dha). Hope this was helpful and if you have any other questions for us or our founding doctors on the Perelel Panel, just shoot us an email at hi@perelelhealth.com. And thank you for being a part of our Perelel community! Xx
