While the timing of when you start your vitamins with us doesn't always exactly align with your trimester, rest assured all of our packs will keep your needs covered during any overlap weeks! Feel free to finish out your current pack before switching to your new one.

We are the first and only prenatal vitamin brand co-founded by an OB/GYN. Our medical co-founder, Dr. Bayati formulates all of our products utilizing her many years of patient experience and the latest research. Most prenatal vitamins use a one-size-fits-all approach to prenatal nutrition that fails to deliver nutrients targeted for each unique stage of a woman's reproductive and hormonal lifecycle.

We created daily vitamin packs that include not only your daily prenatal vitamin that other brands provide, but also a high quality omega, and two targeted supplements for your exact stage -- saving you both money and time finding all of the different supplements to support you in each phase. Your subscription will change with you as you move throughout your motherhood journey, ensuring you receive the exact nutrients you need.

We complete third-party testing on all of our products to confirm purity and potency. All of our vitamins are made in FDA Registered and Inspected Facilities, which meet FDA 21 CFR 111 guidelines and are also cGMP Certified. All raw materials for our vitamins are tested directly prior to production to ensure their purity and quality. COAs are performed on every batch of manufactured vitamins to ensure final product integrity and quality, which includes testing for heavy metals, microbes, allergens and contaminates. We then complete third-party testing for heavy metals, microbes and potency to confirm our products are safe under USP standards.

Our products run on a monthly subscription to make sure you never run out of your vitamins. Your subscription will automatically update alongside your due date so you receive the right pack for your trimester and into postpartum.

We account for shipping time and will automatically move you into the next trimester pack as you start to approach it. You will receive an email 5 days prior to any shipment just in case you need to make any adjustments (such as changing packs or moving back a shipment).

We follow the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists™ (ACOG) defined trimesters:

• 1st Trimester: Week 0 through Week 13
• 2nd Trimester: Week 14 through Week 27
• 3rd Trimester: Week 28 through Week 40+

Although they sound similar, folate and folic acid are not one in the same. Folate refers to the water soluble vitamin in its natural or methylated form, which is the most bioavailable for our bodies. Folic acid is the synthetic version which requires processing by the body to become active into the Folate form, which is then available for absorption. Given how vital folate is to an early stage pregnancy and that up to 60% of women are unable to effectively process folic acid, we use a methylated folate, which is easily absorbed by the body requiring no added processes for your body or your liver.

We rely heavily on the research and insights of our medical co-founder, a practicing OBGYN, as well as our panel of doctors and experts. One of our panel members, Dr. Amber Samuel, a maternal fetal medicine specialist, has shared this insight and research with us for when this question comes up: "Folic acid being less expensive and synthetic lead to the terms folate and folic acid being interchangeable, but science shows us that the end result and goal are the body having additional folate building blocks. We know that while everyone has to convert folic acid for it to be useful (an added step decreasing bioavailability) some women cannot due to MTHFR mutations. Intake of L-5-methyl-THF may have advantages over intake of folic acid."
