While the FDA does not approve dietary supplements, our vitamins are made in an FDA Registered and Inspected Facility, which meets FDA 21 CFR 11 guidelines and is also cGMP Certified. We manufacture our products in accordance with the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure quality and safety. All raw materials for our vitamins are tested directly prior to production to ensure their purity and quality. Certificates of analysis (COA) are performed on every batch of manufactured vitamins to ensure final product integrity and quality, which includes testing for heavy metals, microbes, allergens and contaminates.
Additionally, all our products are free of harmful additives, GMO ingredients, and most allergens!

If you’re trying to get pregnant or starting to think about getting pregnant, it is a perfect time to start on our Conception Support Pack, which will help prepare your body for pregnancy when you’re ready. The Conception Support Pack also delivers key nutrients that are needed for early fetal development, oftentimes before most women even realize that they are pregnant.
Our 1st Trimester (weeks 0 - 13), 2nd Trimester (weeks 14 - 27) and 3rd Trimester Packs (weeks 28 - 40+) are perfect for when you are currently pregnant and will provide the exact nutrients you need at your exact stage in pregnancy.
For postpartum and beyond, we recommend our Mom Multi Support Pack to help with the recovery post-birth and to provide extra support throughout the first few years from those sleepless newborn nights to those toddler tantrums days, and every moment in between. We suggest taking our Mom Multi Support Pack for up to five years post-birth.
Please consult your healthcare provider before use if you are taking any blood-thinning medication as we include Vitamin K in our prenatal multivitamin.
We recommend taking your vitamins daily with food and a full glass of water. Vitamins that contain iron, zinc & vitamin C (all important ingredients we wouldn't want to leave out!) can irritate your stomach lining especially on an empty stomach early in the morning so it's best to take those on a full stomach.
To minimize any lingering smells or tastes, you can pop your Perelel pack in the freezer for 30 mins to an hour prior to taking. Additionally, if you're particularly sensitive, add your Perelel Pack to your bedtime routine and take your supplements right before you go to sleep.
That’s the smell of vitamins, which can smell a bit.. natural! We use high-quality ingredients in their most absorbable, bioavailable formats. And we don’t use any synthetic colorants or additives—ever. Many common household brand vitamins use sugar, coatings, flavoring and additives to mask the natural smell and taste of the ingredients, which isn’t always in the best interest of your health. We choose the most easy-to-digest ingredients that will also effectively deliver the exact nutrients you need. Learn more about switching to an all-natural supplement regimen and how to manage any tastes or smells here.
If you’re feeling nauseous after taking your vitamins, the most common offender is iron. However, iron is an important nutrient when it comes to pregnancy and fertility, which is why we use the most tolerable form of iron, Ferrochel® Iron Bisglycinate Chelate, in our Core Prenatal. More acidic nutrients such as vitamin C and zinc may also cause nausea because they can irritate the stomach lining. But because of the important role they play throughout pregnancy and in boosting your immune system, we recommend leaving them in your daily vitamin regimen.
Instead, to manage nausea we recommend:
- Never taking your vitamins on an empty stomach.
- Minimize any lingering smells or tastes by popping your Perelel pack in the freezer for 30 mins to an hour prior to taking.
- Take your vitamins with a full glass of water and skip the coffee.
- Add Perelel to your bedtime routine and take your supplements right before you go to sleep.

All Perelel shipping materials are made from recycled paper and are 100% recyclable. As for our sachets, while most local recycling centers only accept certain types of plastic and many common household products don’t make the cut, Perelel will recycle your empty sachets for you and that plastic will be repurposed and upcycled into something else by our partners.
To get started, simply save up your empty Perelel sachets and email our team at [email protected] to request a complimentary shipping label to return them to us free of charge. We’ll handle the rest from there.

Using Your HSA/FSA Funds
FSAs (flexible spending accounts) and HSAs (health spending accounts) are employee benefits that allow you to use pre-taxed income on certain medical expenses, including eligible healthcare products. That means you can reduce your personal healthcare costs on Perelel prenatal vitamins, and additional Perelel products with an LMN (letter of medical necessity).
An FSA is an employer-established benefit plan, and only available to employees when offered by their employer. Note, that self-employed individuals are not eligible to create an FSA under current IRS regulations. Note: FSA funds typically expire at the end of the calendar year, although some plans may allow you to roll over some funds or extend the plan year with a grace period. Make sure to spend the rest of your FSA dollars before December 31st to take full advantage!
An HSA is a medical savings account available to those enrolled in a high-deductible insurance policy. Unlike an FSA, self-employed taxpayers can create an account. Note, that an HSA is not available to those eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, or claimed as a dependent on another’s tax return. HSA accounts, unlike FSAs, do not expire and can be rolled over indefinitely.
Prenatal vitamins are FSA/HSA eligible because they help prevent birth defects and support fetal development. The following Perelel supplements are always eligible:
- 1st Trimester Prenatal Pack
- 1st Trimester Prenatal Powder
- 2nd Trimester Prenatal Pack
- 3rd Trimester Prenatal Pack
Please note that Perelel prenatal vitamins do not require a Letter of Medical Necessity or pre-approval.
Non-prenatal supplements may also be FSA/HSA eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity. Here’s how to get one (don’t worry, we make it easy for you!)
- Simply checkout using either your normal credit/debit card for reimbursement or with TrueMed to pay with your HSA/FSA card directly. Please note that paying with TrueMed is currently only available for one-time purchases, but not subscriptions.
- If you did not pay through TrueMed, simply click "get reimbursed" on the order confirmation page and take the 1 minute survey to determine your eligibility for a Letter of Medical Necessity
- In 1-2 business days, a TrueMed Concierge will contact you about eligibility and provide instructions for reimbursement.
Perelel’s prenatal vitamins are FSA/HSA eligible because they help prevent birth defects and support fetal development. This includes: 1st Trimester Prenatal Pack, 1st Trimester Prenatal Powder, 2nd Trimester Prenatal Pack, 3rd Trimester Prenatal Pack.
For subscription purchases: you can use your personal credit/debit card and submit an itemized receipt for reimbursement through your HSA/FSA provider’s website. No pre-qualification is required when purchasing prenatal vitamins.
For one-time purchases: Click “TrueMed - Pay with HSA/FSA” under payment options at checkout and enter your HSA or FSA card information.
You can use your Perelel order confirmation as an itemized receipt, found in your email inbox. You may have received an email from [email protected] (subject line: Order # Confirmed)
Submit your Perelel order confirmation, and Letter of Medical Necessity (if necessary), to your HSA or FSA provider’s website and get reimbursed for your Perelel product, as well as shipping and taxes.
If you have an FSA plan, the funds do not roll over from year to year – use them or lose them! We advise you to file for reimbursement as soon as possible after making a purchase. Since time limits vary across plans, we recommend reviewing your plan for personal time constraints or grace periods.
If you have an HSA plan, funds can roll over from year to year, so there is no time limitation on when reimbursement claims must occur. It is important to note that you can not reimburse yourself for expenses that occurred prior to opening your HSA account.
An LMN, or Letter of Medical Necessity, is like a doctor’s note. It’s issued by a healthcare provider to outline the medical reasons why a particular product or service is medically necessary for an individual’s health, and qualifies your purchase to be HSA/FSA eligible. LMNs demonstrate that an expense is needed to diagnose, treat, or alleviate a medical symptom, rather than for general health or wellness purposes.
Yes, Perelel’s Non-Prenatal vitamins and supplements can be eligible for reimbursement with an LMN. Depending on your individual needs, you may be qualified for an LMN that you can submit, along with your receipt, to your HSA provider. As a reminder, all of Perelel’s prenatal packs do not need a LMN.
Non-prenatal supplements may also be FSA/HSA eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity. Here’s how to get one (don’t worry, we make it easy for you!):
- Simply checkout using either your normal credit/debit card for reimbursement or with TrueMed to pay with your HSA/FSA card directly. Please note that paying with TrueMed is currently only available for one-time purchases, but not subscriptions.
- Take the 1 minute survey on the order confirmation page to determine your eligibility for a Letter of Medical Necessity.
- In 1-2 business days, a TrueMed Concierge will contact you about eligibility and provide instructions for reimbursement.
Once you are approved for a Letter of Medical Necessity, proceed to https://perelelhealth.com, add the relevant products to your cart (listed in your LMN), and checkout with TrueMed using your HSA/FSA card. If you do not have an HSA/FSA card, you can checkout with your normal payment method and apply for reimbursement.
To apply for reimbursement, submit the following information to your HSA/FSA administrator’s website:
- Your itemized receipt (Perelel order confirmation email)
- Your Letter of Medical Necessity (Attached to TrueMed email, search “Your Letter of Medical Necessity for HSA/FSA Coverage” in your inbox)
LMN’s are valid for 12 months from the day they are signed and written.
If you are having trouble using your HSA/FSA funds or need additional support, please contact us at [email protected] with your order number.
