All raw materials for our vitamins are tested directly prior to production to ensure their purity and quality. COAs are performed on every batch of manufactured vitamins to ensure final product integrity and quality, which includes testing for heavy metals, microbes, allergens and contaminates. We then complete third-party testing for heavy metals, microbes and potency to confirm our products are safe under USP standards. Are probiotics safe during pregnancy?

Most commonly used probiotic strains have a good general safety record in healthy adults and a recent review (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8308823/) concluded probiotic products were safe for use during pregnancy and lactation with no serious maternal or infant safety concerns reported; minor effects (e.g., changes in stool or vaginal discharge) were noted in isolated studies. Evidence of specific benefits in pregnancy is mixed and continues to evolve. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your health-care provider before starting any supplement.

What are the best probiotics while pregnant?

There isn’t one “best” probiotic for every pregnancy. Look for products that clearly list strains ( Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium are probiotic genera that are well studied for a variety of health benefits ), clearly show the CFU amount, are third-party tested and are labeled for use during pregnancy—then confirm with your clinician. My Daily Probiotic!
I started taking these at the beginning of my pregnancy and am now 2 week postpartum and have continued to take them to support healthy gut while breastfeeding. I love the ingredients and that they’re easy to take. The bonus is smooth digestion and clear skin!

Daily probiotic
I have tried many many probiotics, and this one is the only one that has worked. With other probiotics my stomach would be so messed up. This one is super gentle and effective too. It’s a plus because it’s breastfeeding friendly and pregnancy friendly too!
